SMARTPAY SIGNS MAJOR STRATEGIC CONTRACT IN AUSTRALIA

AUCKLAND,  20th February 2012- SmartPay (NZX: SPY), a leading provider of payments and transactional solutions in Australia and New Zealand, today announced that it has signed a five year agreement with Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited (the "Bank") for the provision of an initial 4,000 of SmartPay's EFTPOS terminals to the Bank's merchants on a rental basis.
